How do I become a substitute teacher? What are the steps in the hiring process?
To apply online please go to https://account.edustaff.org/apply/to access the job board. Select the districts/positions you would like to apply for. Once you have made your selections click “Start Application”.
Following the completion of the online application, you will be guided to select and attend a workshop and submit any necessary documentation to fulfill the requirements at the workshop. Upon verification by our processing team that you have satisfied all necessary requirements, you will receive an approval notification and be eligible to start accepting assignments.
What are the requirements to become a substitute teacher?

You can begin your online application at https://account.edustaff.org/apply/ to access the job board. Select the districts/positions you would like to apply for. Once you have made your selections click “Start Application”.
Do you accept paper applications?
No. Edustaff’s application process can be done online at https://account.edustaff.org/apply/
How do I finish my application?
If you have already initiated an application and wish to proceed further, you may log back into your account on account.edustaff.org to log in and resume your progress.
How do I log into my Edustaff employee account?
To access your employee account, please navigate to account.edustaff.org. You will then be prompted to enter your username and password to proceed.
I forgot my password to log into my employee account. What should I do?
To initiate a password reset, please follow these steps:
1. Visit account.edustaff.org.
2. Choose the option “Forgot Password.”
3. An email containing a link to reset your password will be sent to the email address associated with your Edustaff account.

How do I add another organization or position to my profile?
To add additional districts and/or positions into your employee profile, please follow these steps:
1. Log in to your account
2. Navigate to the “Access” tab on the left side of the screen, then select “Organizations & Positions” from the drop down.
2. Click on the “+Add Organizations or Positions” option.
3. Locate and select the organization or positions you wish to add.
4. After adding them, you will notice the pending request displayed at the top of the page.
5. An Edustaff representative will review the request along with any pending requirements before approval.
